Connect Groups
From the crowd into community. Find your people.
You Were Made for Community
Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey. From the very beginning, God designed us to grow together — to encourage one another, learn from one another, and walk through life side by side.
At Hallmark, Connect Groups are the heart of how we move people from the crowd into genuine community. Every Sunday morning, groups gather across our campus to open God’s Word together, process the sermon, and build the kind of friendships that go deeper than the surface.
Whether you’ve been at Hallmark for years or you’re walking through our doors for the first time, there’s a group ready to welcome you.
What to Expect
Connect Groups are 45-minute gatherings on Sunday mornings. Most of our groups are moving toward a sermon-discussion format — meaning you’ll talk through the morning’s message together, ask questions, and apply it to your real life.
Groups are generally organized by life stage, but anyone is welcome to visit any group. There’s no wrong door.
Two Time Options
9:00 AM — Before the worship service. These groups don’t require kids programming, so it’s a great fit for empty nesters or those without young children.
11:15 AM — After the worship service. Most of our groups meet at this time. Kids and students have their own programming during this hour.
Discipleship Pathway
The journey of spiritual growth at Hallmark is thoughtfully designed to guide you through a transformative process, known as the Discipleship Pathway.
The pathway is categorized into three stages:
Crowd is where your journey begins. It invites everyone to participate in various events and services that Hallmark offers. This phase is crucial as it allows you to experience the warmth and welcoming spirit of our church community and understand our values.
Community is where you are encouraged to deepen your connection with the church by becoming a member and joining a Connect Group. We want you to have a sense of belonging as you foster deeper relationships with other followers of Jesus.
Core is designed for those who are ready to not just attend but grow in their faith and serve others. This stage is where faith and action converge, leading to profound personal growth and a positive impact on the community around you.

Common questions about Connect Groups
Do I have to sign up?
Nope. Connect Groups are open — you can walk into any group on any Sunday. No registration required. If you want help finding the right group for you, use the form below and we’ll point you in the right direction.
What do you study?
Most of our groups are moving toward a sermon-discussion format — you’ll talk through that morning’s message together. Some groups still follow their own curriculum. Either way, every group is centered on God’s Word.
Can I visit a group that doesn’t match my age?
Absolutely. The age ranges are general guides, not requirements. Every group is open to anyone who wants to be there. Visit a few and see where you feel at home.
Is there childcare?
Yes! During our 11:15 AM groups, full kids and student programming is available for ages 6 weeks through 12th grade. The 9:00 AM groups don’t have kids programming, which works well for those without young children.
What if I’m new to Hallmark?
Even better. Connect Groups are one of the best ways to get to know people and feel at home here. You don’t need to know the Bible inside and out. Just show up ready to learn and connect.
How is this different from a D-Group?
Connect Groups are open, larger, and focused on fellowship and Bible discussion. Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) are small, closed, gender-specific groups focused on deep accountability and spiritual growth. Many people start in a Connect Group and eventually join or start a D-Group.
