Matt Whitsell

Administrative Pastor

Matt Whitsell is the Administrative Pastor for Hallmark Baptist Church. He joined Hallmark in 2004 and has served as the Middle School Pastor and the Student Pastor. Matt graduated from Baptist Bible College in 2004. He completed his Masters of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2007. He is also a Certified Church Administrator with the National Association of Church Business Administrators.

Matt currently resides in Burleson with his wife Julie. They have an amazing daughter who is a party crasher (she was born on Matt and Julie’s wedding anniversary) and an awesome son. They also have a Yorkshire Terrier named Ranger, who is the family guard dog. Matt enjoys watching the Rangers and the Cowboys, but most importantly he cheers for the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday afternoons in the fall.
